Voith Paper: Instrumentation packages successfully positioned on the market

A year ago Voith Paper Automation added valves and sensors to its product range by means of cooperation agreements with leading vendors of field instruments. In the first major projects in China and Latin America customers have been convinced that Voith field instruments – integrated into an automation solution for the entire papermaking process- are the ideal solution. This is why Voith Paper Automation would like to continue to consolidate these partnerships with the manufacturers.

This was clearly reflected at a meeting between Peter Hägg, CEO of Somas Instrument AB, and Dr. Antti Kaunonen, CEO of Voith Paper Automation, in Heidenheim, Germany. Dr. Kaunonen assessed the new integrated concept for system instrumentation as follows: The most important point is that our customers can order “worry-free” field instrument packages for large-scale projects. We assume responsibility for quality, documentation and application of all field instruments.”
