The Asian Paper Show, incorporating the New Production Technology Exhibition, Senior Management Symposium (SMS), New Applied Technology Conference (NAT) and Paper Products & Office Supplies Fair, is set to take place in Bangkok during April 21-23, 2010. This event, which is held on a two-year cycle, is the largest meeting point for the Southeast Asian pulp, paper and board sector, attracting thousands of industry personnel who come to learn all about new technology, solutions, ideas and innovations.
As of February 2010, more than 100 supplier companies from around the world are scheduled to be participating at the New Production Technology exhibition. There will also be several national pavilions at the show including three from China, and one each from Finland and India. As far as visitors, national delegations will be coming from India, Taiwan, China and Vietnam.
A key highlight of the event is the 1½ day long Senior Management Symposium (SMS) which will feature 14-15 top level speakers who will share their unique insight on numerous critical topics impacting this dynamic business. The theme of this year’s Symposium is Taking Advantage of New Challenges and Opportunities with the subtheme: ‘Sustainable Growth for a Sustainable World’.
The program will include speeches on issues such as market developments, country trends, key environmental and sustainability issues, as well as outlooks on the future and where the industry might be headed.
