AFT Appoints Jeff Hartman as Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Hartman will focus on sustained growth, operational excellence, resource management and the seamless implementation of best practices across AFT’s global sites.

Mr. Jeff Hartman, Chief Operating Officer, Aikawa Fiber Technologies (AFT)

Aikawa Fiber Technologies (AFT), global manufacturer and supplier of industrial machinery for the pulp and paper industry, specializing in stock preparation, screening, refining and paper machine approach flow systems, has appointed Mr. Jeff Hartman as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company.

With over 36 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, Mr. Hartman has been instrumental in driving operational success at AFT Americas since joining the company nine years ago.

Previously serving as Director of Services & Systems and later as Vice President and General Manager, Americas, he has played a key role in enhancing AFT’s global service and operational strategies. 

Before AFT, Mr. Hartman served in growing roles within multiple well-established companies including Westvaco Corp, Champion International, Buckeye Technologies Inc and Georgia-Pacific Corporation, gaining expertise in engineering, maintenance, operations and project management.

As COO, he will focus on sustained growth, operational excellence, resource management, and the seamless implementation of best practices across AFT’s global sites.
