International technology group ANDRITZ will supply a new high-capacity chemi-mechanical pulp production line to Zhanjiang China Paper Company Limited, a subsidiary of Guangdong Guanhao High-Tech Company Limited in Guangdong Province of China.
The new line will fill the gap in the company’s chemi-mechanical pulp supply and end Guangdong Guanhao High-Tech Company Limited’s dependence on market pulp.

Zhao Guohong, Deputy General Manager, Guangdong Guanhao and Chief Project Director of Zhanjiang China Paper, says, “Our dependence on market chemi-mechanical pulp has led to certain limitations in our high-end white cardboard production. The new line from ANDRITZ will enable us to produce our own pulp, reducing raw material risks and enhancing competitiveness.”

The new P-RC APMP (Pre-Conditioning Refiner Chemical Alkaline Peroxide Mechanical Pulp) line, with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons, will produce high-quality pulp for premium white cardboard. ANDRITZ will supply the complete line, including systems for wood chip washing, impregnation, high-consistency refining, bleaching, washing, low-consistency refining, screening, and rejects treatment. ANDRITZ will also provide the installation supervision, commissioning, start-up, and training.
