Cardinal Tissue LLC, leading manufacturer of premium tissue paper products, has acquired two US-based facilities of Softex Paper, which convert parent rolls of tissue paper into toilet papers, paper towels, napkins and facial tissue papers. The plants are located in Rock Hill of South Carolina and Palatka of Florida.
As per Cardinal Tissue, the acquisition marks a significant milestone in its strategic growth plan and underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its manufacturing capabilities and enhancing its customer offerings.

The acquisition is the result of a collaborative partnership between Cardinal Tissue’s CEO and owner Vince Reese and Softex Paper’s CEO and owner Marcel Lieuw, who have worked closely together for the past two years. The two companies share a strong dedication to quality and innovation in the tissue paper industry, and this deal is poised to further strengthen both companies’ ability to serve customers with a broader range of products and services.
