Building on the three-year history of supplying compostable tableware at the temple, this association marks a significant milestone in CHUK’s role to replace traditional disposable tableware with eco-friendly alternatives. The collaboration is an extension of the Shrine Board’s overarching goal to reduce plastic waste and promote environmental consciousness among pilgrims and local communities in the temple town of Katra. CHUK is also focused on making a positive impact in Katra, which aligns with Pakka’s broader mission to contribute to a cleaner earth.
