JMC Paper Tech Inaugurates First Indian Paper Mill in Mexico

The state-of-the-art 200 TPD Kraft test liner, the first paper mill in Ciudad Juárez, will produce 100 percent recycled test liner paper.

Balaji JMC Paper Mill, a subsidiary of JMC Paper Tech Private Limited, has inaugurated a 200 TPD Kraft test liner, the first-ever Indian paper mill in Mexico.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art effluent treatment plant, the mill will produce 100 percent recycled test liner paper. It incorporates high-speed automation, optimized stock preparation and energy consumption, along with cutting-edge control systems, to ensure precision, superior quality and efficiency.

Balaji JMC Paper Mill represents a USD 60 million investment in the Ciudad Juárez region, creating over 200 direct jobs and 1000 indirect opportunities across the supply chain. With plans for future expansion, the group aims to invest USD 200 million throughout Mexico over the next five years and USD 500 million over the next decade, positioning Ciudad Juárez and other major cities throughout Mexico as a hub for sustainable and innovative manufacturing.
