Kemira Announces Capacity Expansion of Paper & Board Chemicals in Thailand

After the expansion, expected to be completed by August 2026, the total estimated annual capacity at Kemira’s Wellgrow site in Thailand will reach approximately 100,000 tons. It will serve the expanding Southeast Asian and Indian markets.

Kemira, leading producer and supplier of pulp, paper and board chemicals in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market, is making a multi-million Euro investment in multiple production line expansion of strength chemical agents for paper, board and tissue at its Wellgrow site in Thailand. 

After the expansion, expected to be completed by August 2026, the total estimated annual capacity at the Wellgrow site will reach approximately 100,000 tons. It will serve the expanding Southeast Asian and Indian markets.
