Lecta has taken a significant step forward in its unwavering commitment to sustainability. The company’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets for 2030 have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Following a rigorous review process by its validation team, SBTi has approved Lecta’s ambitious Scope 1 and Scope 2 targets, confirming their alignment with the 1.5°C pathway goal. This threshold represents the maximum global temperature increase established under the Paris Agreement of 2015. With SBTi’s endorsement and in line with its criteria, Lecta has committed to a 40 percent absolute reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 2030, using 2021 as the baseline year.
