Hosted at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC), a venue featuring a 4-hall structure and over 40,300 square meters of exhibition space, the event provided a dynamic environment for industry engagement. With a population exceeding 100 million, predominantly young consumers, and a growth rate of 1.9% annually, Egypt offers a vibrant and expanding market. The country’s paper sector is particularly promising, with 78% of its demand currently met by imports, while only 22% is sourced domestically. The market for paper, tissue, paperboard, and pulp is projected to grow at an annual rate of 10% over the next three years, underscoring the country’s rising capabilities.

Insights into the Exhibition

The 2024 exhibition featured two major sections: PAPER-ME and TISSUE-ME, both of which have significantly evolved over the years to showcase the latest advancements and trends in the industry. A notable highlight of this year’s edition was the increase in exhibitors, from over 330 companies in 2023 to more than 420 in 2024, reflecting the sector’s steady growth. Participating countries included China, India, Turkey, Kuwait, Singapore, Italy, Germany, the UAE, and the United States, further demonstrating the international appeal and significance of the exhibition.
