A trade show that deliver buyers
The 9th edition of Paperex 2009 scheduled for 4th 7th December in New Delhi. The 2007 exhibition & conference saw significant increase in top quality visitors from 22,000 to 34,000 – even more are expected for 2009. Paperex 2009 is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and has the support from various trade associations from India & Abroad like IARPMA, IPPTA , CPPRI, FPTA, KNHPI, TAPPI, PEA etc.
‘Tissue industry’ will be presented as one of the special features at Paperex 2009. The changing consumption patterns of India’s burgeoning middle class are giving a boost to this industry. Also, despite the global recession, outlook and mood remains positive for the tissue industry, the tissue market experts say that tissue consumption on a global basis is expected to grow worldwide at a pace of about 2.8%and 4.5% after 2010.
With another 8 months at hand the exhibition has 261 participants from 21 countries namely Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, The Netherlands, UK, USA. A concurrent international technical conference will be organized with the theme “Growth and competitiveness of Indian Paper Industry – Strategies and Technologies”.
