Kimberly-Clark has announced the promotion of Mr. Russ Torres as the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Kimberly-Clark has appointed Mr. Russ Torres as the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He has been promoted from his position as President, North America.
In this expanded leadership role, Torres will oversee daily operations across the organization’s business segments and take charge of critical functions including Global Supply Chain, R&D, Global Growth and Digital Technology Solutions. He will continue to report to Mr. Mike Hsu, who now assumes the role of Executive Chairman.

To ensure continuity in North America’s operations, Mr. Kurt Laufer, currently leading U.S. Consumer Sales, has been appointed as Interim President for the region.
Mr. Torres joined Kimberly-Clark in 2020 and has held several key leadership positions. Most recently, he served as President of North America, overseeing the personal care, family care, and professional divisions. Before that, he was Group President of K-C North America and led K-C Professional’s global operations. With over 25 years of industry experience, his earlier career includes senior roles at Newell Brands, Bain & Company, and Mondelez International.
Mr. Hsu praised Mr. Torres’ impact, stating, “Russ is a purpose-driven leader who has driven commercial transformation and outstanding results in the businesses. Under his leadership, our North America business strengthened its growth trajectory, achieving mid-single digit compound annual growth.
