Tetra Pak has introduced an innovative solution where a new paper-based barrier technology will replace aluminum foil layer in aseptic beverage cartons. This innovation will increase the paper content in beverage cartons to approximately 80% combined with plant-based polymers. This will further benefit the recycling process, maximizing the recovery of paper content in carton packages and delivering high-quality fiber and non-fiber fractions.
