APPM, now an international paper group Company, is one of the largest integrated paper and pulp manufacturers in India. Established in 1964, the Company produces writing, printing, copier and industrial paper. The Company – pioneering Indian farm forestry, which promotes cultivation of trees as a crop by farmers – has facilitated plantation of over one billion trees so far through 50,000 farmers. Its production facilities at Rajahmundry and Kadiyam (includes a recycle unit) have a total production capacity of 240,000 TPA. The Company employs around 2,500 employees and is headquartered in Hyderabad.
