Kipas Kagit’s new recycled corrugated case material machine in Söke, Turkey, having a capacity of 650,000 TPA of fluting, testliner and kraft top testliner, will start functioning on November 10.

As per a company spokesperson, trial runs will be carried out first, followed by commercial production. The first paper is planned to be delivered around the end of the year.
Once operational, PM 3 will be one of Europe’s biggest containerboard machines. The Söke mill houses a second machine with a capacity of 720,000 TPA of recycled corrugated case material and cartonboard.

Kipas Kagit operates another paper mill in Kahramanmaras. This site can make up to 450,000 TPA of recycled corrugated case material.
