The VIII International Conference “Russian Pulp and Paper Industry – New Realities, New Opportunities”, was held in Turkey, Istanbul from Dec 5-6, 2024. The Conference witnessed constructive professional dialogue between business structures, potential investors and representatives of governmental authorities, whose decisions determine the functioning of the pulp and paper industry in Russia.

Organized by the Union of Timber Producers and Timber Exporters of Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the operator – the Association of Paper Industry Specialists (ASPI), the VIII International Conference “Russian Pulp and Paper Industry – New Realities, New Opportunities”, successfully concluded in Istanbul from December 5-6, 2024.

The event was held at the Shangri La Bosphorus Hotel with the participation of the top Russian paper mills along with more than 40 leading industry speakers, ministers, department heads, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, numerous governors, as well as representatives of leading banks and financial organizations, specialists from top industry companies, media, including foreign participants.

Mr. Chirag Jain, Founder & Director-MSIL, MLM India, was a speaker at the international conference, representing the Indian pulp & paper industry. The conference had panel discussions related to- analysis of key trends and development prospects of the pulp and paper industry, investment projects and their impact on the industry landscape, technological independence of the industry, export potential of pulp and paper products of the Russian Federation etc.
