Paperex 2013 turned out to be a good stage for the company’s Principals to discuss with various customers the technological advancements of their respective companies and products.
At Paperex 2013, the company’s booth had representation for all its Principals, namely AFT, Finland; AstenJohnsson, Singapore; Frank PTI, Germany; Acecoat Corporation, South Korea; PCF Maintenance, Sweden; Clean Combustion, Sweden; GAW Technologies, Austria; Thiele Kaolin Company, USA; Lundberg, USA; Frontway AB, Sweden; PMT Italia, Italy; and Scanjet, Sweden.
The Principals were satisfied with the responses and interaction with customers. There was a wide interest in energy-efficient screening systems from AFT, rotors, screen baskets and fine bar refining segments. Also, Clean Combustion solutions for improving the efficiency and burner system management of lime kilns invoked a great deal of interest. Customers discussed PCF technology for fabric cleaning systems in order to improve the up time of the paper machines, and the company received a few enquiries for the same after Paperex.
At Paperex, Elof Hansson had useful discussions with the customers about Thiele clay products, namely coating clays and de-inking aids. Also, Elof Hansson introduced a new company, Frontway, who are software developers and programmers for paper mills with built-in solutions for production, engineering, design and maintenance.
