Mr. Saifee Jani of Maimoon Impex LLP visited Paper Mart stand and shared his views on the recycled fiber market, he said: “According to our estimates, there is likely to be increased demand for waste paper in India and will grow at a reasonable rate of 8-10 per cent in the next 3 to 5 years period. At present demand for waste paper is met mostly through imports. Although due to recent sudden depreciation of Indian Rupee, there is renewed interest to source waste paper from domestic market.
He further added, recycled fiber collection is an important aspect and ITC Ltd has played an important role in India on this front through their WOW program.”
Speaking about his company he said: “We are indenting agents for International Forest Products, USA, which is one of the largest traders in recycled fiber. We also represent Paper Link International Ltd, which is one of the largest traders for recycled fiber in the Middle East. Besides we import & export various paper related products such as kraft liner, white top test liner, duplex board, folding box board etc.”
