A new rewinder and refurbishment of the existing rewinders by PAPCEL will result in technology upgradation and efficiency enhancement of the Indian company.

The Czech company, PAPCEL signed a contract with its strategic partner from India to deliver a new rewinder and refurbishment of the existing rewinder. The new rewinder will be used for both newsprint and writing & printing paper.
With the new rewinder, the trimmed width of the wound paper roll will be 5350 mm whereas the diameter of wound roll will be 2000 mm. Also, the basic weight of the newsprint will vary from 40 to 45 gsm and for writing & printing (W&P) paper the range would be 50 to 80gsm.
