Sunshine Papers India Limited signed an agreement on 19th May, 2010 to purchase a tissue machine from Germany. The 80 TPD machine with major equipments from Voith & Metso was closed since two years. The 3.2 metre wide Yankee machine with Crescent Former has a production speed of 1000 mpm and will churn out Soft Tissue & Hard Tissue. Pulp Mill Equipment will be sourced from indigenous sources. Raw Material will be a mix of imported softwood pulp and assorted waste paper. Total project cost is estimated around Rs. 60 crores (USD 13.3 million) and machine is scheduled to start production in last quarter of 2011. The company is going to adopt latest available technology to minimizing Production cost and will have exclusive tie-up for marketing oversees.
