Neeraj Paper Marketing Ltd organized Annual Distributors’ Global Conference 2017. In order to serve the Indian market with quality paper and paper boards, NPML has joined hands with many International companies. The tie-ups are from Europe, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh and various other countries. With these tie-ups and to meet the growing demand of the customers, Neeraj Paper had targeted trading of 50,000 MT/Month in the coming years. As a part of their annual conference, NPML invited their International collaborators at Hotel Crowne Plaza, New Delhi on 23 October 2017.
The program was inaugurated by Mrs. and Mr. Rakesh Bindal, Chairman, Bindals Papers Mills Limited followed by the special invitees of this occasion Mr. Wolfgang Haberbauer, Export Director, Sappi Europe and Mr. Lee Chin Eng, Managing Director, Sappi Singapore.
The program started with the Technical Session conducted by the Sappi Personnel wherein they highlighted the global scenario and briefed the technical knowhow of printing and packaging industry. Followed by this, was the panel discussion which was conducted by Mr. Kapil Kumar – Business Consultant (Imports). The discussion topic was ‘Future of the Paper Industry’.
Among the panel members there was Mr. Neeraj Goel, Managing Director, Neeraj Paper Marketing Ltd. He anticipated the growth of the industry after the implementation of the GST regime. He added that the paper industry will rise and the business will seek benefit in the near future. Mr. Ankur Bindal, MD, Bindals Papers Mills Limited also added to the discussion. He says that future of the industry is bright and the paper manufacturers are ready to take all the challenges which may come in the way. “This industry is growing day-by-day and we are also making our product quality and price competitive to face the challenges,” he added. Mr. Alok Sharma, Consultant to Paper Industry also joined the discussion. He said, “Looking at the future trends in lower GSM can take more market share and the mills have to really become more competitive and need to work towards more on lower GSM.”
