Satia Industries Limited, one of the biggest wood and agro-based paper mills in India, has successfully completed the expansion project of a new paper machine. The mechanical fabrication and erection of the new paper machine were concluded in the month of October 2021.
The trial runs of the different sections of the production line are underway and the paper production trials are slated to begin in December 2021. Thereafter, the commercial operation will be started at the paper mill.

Furthermore, Satia Industries has also commissioned the cutlery machine and the commercial production from the cutlery project is expected to be concluded by the end of November 2021.
The company is one of the few companies manufacturing paper with wheat straw which can be regarded as an unconventional raw material. Besides, the company’s captive power plant utilizes waste from other processes, strengthening its rank as an environment-friendly organisation.
