Gujarat-based Shivay Kraft Papers is setting up a 150 TPD single wire Kraft Paper plant and the Company will manufacture a range of high bf kraft paper, fluting media, and test linear paper at the facility.

Shivay Kraft Papers Pvt. Ltd. will set up a 150 TPD single-wire Kraft Paper plant, supplied by JMC Paper Tech Pvt. Ltd., in the Mahesana district in Gujarat. The company will manufacture a range of high bf kraft paper, fluting media, and test linear paper at the facility. The Company intends to upgrade the single wire paper machine to top wire in the future.

JMC Paper Tech will supply – the pulp mill section, the paper machine section, finishing equipment, and other equipment – such as electrifications, boilers, and pumps, etc. to the Gujarat-based company.
The company will install a high BF single wire MF (machine finished) machine with a size press. The machine’s deckle size is 4300 mm and is designed to run at a speed of 350 MPM while the operating speed will be 300 MPM. The raw material used will be – OCC, NDLKC, and KCC.
As informed to Paper Mart, the estimated cost of the project is INR 42 crore. Also, the plant’s erection and installation are under full swing and Shivay Kraft Papers expects to go for production from June 2021.

Prior to entering into the paper industry, Shivay Kraft Papers Pvt. Ltd- Management team had been greatly involved in the paper packaging and corrugation industry as M/S. Shiv Containers. The company’s workforce includes more than 170 skilled and unskilled personnel.
