Views on the Indian digital printing industry
Digital printing industry is growing at a very fast rate unlike the any other segment of printing industry. Economy though showing the signs of improvement but down the line it is not true as there is no healthy competition in the market.
Recession and its effect on printing industry
Recession has hit the Indian markets at large. Be it an insurance, banking or telecom industry, they all are facing downturn which ultimately worsened the printing sector as eventually every industry is a print buyer.
Offset Printing Industry has huge un-utilized capacities leaving an effect on the working of the entire printing industry. People are not counting on their capital investment and other expenses in a lure to keep their plants running.

The digital printing industry in India has neither the dearth of money nor the orders, nor any kind of unutilized capacity. “I am printing 1 million cards a day without any mails, calls or other problems and still there is a huge opportunity that hasn’t been looked upon”.
