Beginning April 1, 2011, West Fraser Mills Ltd has appointed Fibre Source International Corp in conjuncture with its JV Fibre Source International India exclusive agents for pulp sales to the India market.
Fibre Source International will be responsible for marketing the sales of West Fraser’s Quesnel River and Slave Lake BCTMP pulps in addition to promoting sales of their Hinton NBSK pulp.
Fibre Source International Corp announced the formation of Fibre Source International India in cooperation with Remizzo Inc in February 2008. Remizzo Inc., in association with a world leading secondary fibre supply corporation, is a major shipper to the Indian Market.
Fibre Source International with Remizzo Inc’s waste sales will provide West Fraser a broader spectrum of Indian customers to market their various grades of pulp. With the growing paper demand in India, Fibre Source International will enable West Fraser to be one of the preferred supplier’s of pulp to the Indian market.
