Gayatrishakti Paper & Boards has entered the Indian tissue paper market with the start-up of the AHEAD tissue machine supplied by Toscotec at their facility in Vapi, Gujarat state.

Gayatrishakti Paper & Boards has entered the Indian tissue paper market with AHEAD tissue machine supplied by Toscotec at their facility in Vapi, Gujarat state. The AHEAD tissue machine has a sheet trim width of 2,850 mm, an operating speed of 1,800 m/min, and a production of over 35,000 TPA.

It features Toscotec’s first-class drying configuration including an upgraded design shoe press TT NextPress, a third-generation design TT SYD Steel Yankee Dryer, and high-efficiency TT Hood. The supply included key stock preparation and fiber recovery equipment, Toscotec’s patented TT SAF® DD (Short Approach Flow System with Double Dilution) for superior energy efficiency, TT Brain DCS of upgraded design, and two OPTIMA 2200 slitter rewinders.
