According to the report by Statista — the world’s plastics production totalled around 368 million metric tonnes in 2019 and continues to rise. The main reason for the increase in plastic production is plastic packaging. Providing a solution to this very significant and catastrophic environmental issue of single-use plastic, the homegrown Noida-based startup — Kagzi Bottles is pioneering a completely new product category: a 100% compostable paper bottle, which is also the first-of-its-kind in India. This innovative solution will give consumers a greener and cleaner switch from plastic to paper pulp. The bottle can be used to package beverages, toiletries, liquids and powder.
The brain behind this sustainable alternative is Ms. Samiksha Ganeriwal, the founder of Kagzi Bottles.
