Ballarpur Industries in its 79th annual general meeting has announced the takeover of the company by the resolution applicant-Finquest Financial Solutions Private Limited , and the subsequent appointment of the new Board of Directors.

The chairman of the company further apprised the members for the efforts undertaken by the new management for revival of operations and preparation of pending financial statements.

The company provided a remote e-voting facility to its members to cast votes electronically. All the resolutions set out in the notice were passed with requisite majority in the meeting.
