The Duplex Stainless-Steel Suction Shell is known for its characteristics like resistance to cyclic stresses and fatigue corrosion phenomena, which are essential to guarantee the duration and reliability of the suction rolls.
The most important cost item of a suction roll shell is certainly the raw semi-finished products that are purchased by RIF from the main and most qualified worldwide producers. The second important cost item is the shell drilling: RIF exclusively adopts the gun-drilling technique, obtaining straight holes, compliant with the drilling pattern and with the best degree of internal finish.

RIF is now able to combine high-resistance polyurethane coverings with the supply of Duplex Stainless-Steel Suction Shell for suction press rolls, an ideal and synergistic match to achieve the best resistance properties. The company offers HEVOPRESS for suction press cylinders of wet presses and HEVOPRESS-Y for Yankee suction pressure cylinders. Both coatings are made with highest quality raw materials and with advanced application methodologies.
