Moglix, India’s leading online store for industrial tools and equipment, has acquired paper manufacturer Khatema Fibres for INR 80 crore, to expand its product line and manufacturing capabilities.

As per the ecommerce platform, the acquisition of the paper and forest products company would help it to enter new manufacturing categories and enhance its B2B offerings.
It would also complement Moglix’s recent launch of Next Day Delivery in over 12 cities, which would soon be expanded to 40 cities to cater to the evolving needs of the B2B segment, said Mr. Rahul Garg, Founder and CEO of Moglix.

He said the transaction would not only expand Moglix’s manufacturing footprint, but enable it to deliver even greater value, while meeting the dynamic demands of the market.
