Parason has successfully commissioned a black liquor pressure filter, at Seshasayee Paper & Boards Limited, in Tamil Nadu.

The filter is operating successfully and smoothly under plant conditions such as: capacity of 60–70 m³/hr, Electrical Beam Drilled (EBD) screen of 200 Micron, stable DP ranging from 0.1–0.2 bar, inlet TSS of 75 PPM and outlet TSS of < 30 PPM, with no choking issues.

The filter is designed for both agro and wood-based mills. The equipment’s performance has been verified during site trials and handed over successfully.
