Kruger Inc, a manufacturer of paper and paperboard in North America, has announced the launch of Project Tuckamore, the major initiative to revitalize Corner Brook Pulp and Paper (CBPP) and transform the site into an integrated energy and industrial hub.

The project is designed to strengthen the mill’s long-term competitiveness. Commenting on the project, Mr. Darren Pelley, Vice President, Special Projects at Kruger, said, “Project Tuckamore is about positioning Corner Brook Pulp and Paper for the future. By bringing together industrial modernization, sustainable forestry and renewable energy, we are creating a stronger, more resilient operation that will continue to contribute to the economy and communities of Newfoundland and Labrador for decades to come.”

Project Tuckamore will officially open on July 15, 2026, in Suite 111 of the CRI Building, located at 3 Mill Road in Corner Brook.
