Microfab Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Santhoshimathaa Papertek Pvt. Ltd. have announced a new project for the production of absorbent kraft paper for the laminate industry, aimed at strengthening the availability of quality absorbent kraft paper in Southern India.

The project has a planned production capacity of 150–200 TPD and will feature a 3.9 m pope reel width. The start-up is planned for the end of 2026. The project is positioned as a new source of quality absorbent kraft paper in Southern India, supporting the region’s requirements for specialised paper solutions.
