Kuantum Papers and Bellmer Germany allied together for the upgradation of PM4 of Kuantum Papers, with an expected boost of 15% in machine speed and a 20% increase in production.
Kuantum Papers Limited, one of the leading paper manufacturers in India has joined forces with Bellmer-Germany, a global player in the designing and manufacturing of high-tech machines for the paper industry.
The focal point of this strategic alliance is the upgradation of PM4 which includes the installation of a state-of-the-art shoe press having flexibility of nip width, the addition of duo stabilizer boxes with vacuum dryers, a rope-less threading system for unirun dryers, tail threading conveyor systems for pre and post dryer groups and calendar modification with oil heating system. The impact is expected to be transformative, with an expected boost of 15% in machine speed and a 20% increase in production, combined with significant reductions in steam and power consumption.
Kuantum has recently undertaken a series of projects to enhance its production facility and has already completed the upgradation of PM1 & PM2 with an objective to increase their capacity, quality and efficiency.
