Andhra Paper Limited has resumed operations of its second paper machine at its Kadiam Unit, taking the facility’s operational capacity to around 93 percent of normal levels. The company said it continues to work towards full stabilization and restoration of manufacturing activities following the disruption caused by contract workers’ demands for revised contractual terms.

Andhra Paper Limited has announced the resumption of its second paper machine, with a production capacity of 55 MT per day, at its Kadiam Unit in Andhra Pradesh, effective July 23, 2026. With this development, the unit’s overall operational production capacity has increased from nearly 70 percent to approximately 93 percent of its normal output.

The company stated that it is implementing necessary operational measures to progressively stabilize operations and restore full production at the earliest. The disruption at the Kadiam Unit was attributed to demands raised by contract workmen regarding revisions to certain contractual terms, although the company clarified that no physical damage occurred to its assets.
