Bindal Papers Ltd has launched its copier paper “Bindal Fine Prints” in 75 GSM with 90% brightness. Further they will add 80 GSM copiers for exports market and 70 GSM for cost competitive domestic market. Prior to launch the copier in branded packaging Bindal has done trials by selling copier in neutral packaging to ensure better machine performance, fast printing and smooth run-ability & both side printing etc.
Out of the total capacity of 9000 tons per month the company targets to produce 3000 tons copier while same quantities will go for SS maplitho and non-surface sized papers. With a strong dealer network across India they are primarily focusing on New Delhi, NCR & Uttar Pradesh region. They have plans to associate few channel partners specializing in copier segment for major metro cities. Being an agro based product (80% agro residue and 20% softwood pulp) it has got “Green Advantage” which opens the European & US markets for them. Bindal’s agro based paper is very well accepted as an alternate to wood based paper in the local market for printing multi color jobs on high speed machines and it is also being exported to middle east & African countries.
