CenturyPly has contracted ANDRITZ to supply a pressurized refining system for its Andhra Pradesh-based MDF line. The system will process eucalyptus and poplar wood chips to produce high-quality MDF at 37 tonnes per hour.

CenturyPly has contracted ANDRITZ for a pressurized refining system for its medium-density fiberboard (MDF) line in Andhra Pradesh, India. The new state-of-the-art fiber preparation system will have a design capacity of 37 tonnes per hour and process eucalyptus and poplar wood chips for producing high-quality MDF. Its start-up is scheduled for the second half of 2023.

This is immediately after successfully producing the first fibers with its recently installed ANDRITZ pressurized refining system at its MDF production plant in Punjab, India. The new system will be the third system supplied by ANDRITZ to CenturyPly.
