The 2nd edition of Middle East’s Paper, Tissue and Converting industry exhibition is poised to take off with some of the biggest names in the paper industry showcasing their excellence yet again. Exhibition will be an opportunity to the manufacturers and suppliers of finished goods, equipment, machinery, paper chemicals, services and supplies of paper, tissue and converting sector to reach the markets of the Middle East and North East African region.
The Middle East is one of the fastest growing markets in the world for the paper industry and is at the apex between Western & Eastern markets. The Paper and board market in the region is nearly 8 million metric tons per year. Of this total, over 3 million metric tons are supplied locally and about 5 million metric tons are imported. In printing and writing papers, imports have outpaced regional supply growth. Domestic supply of packaging papers has, however, grown briskly, especially in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and UAE. The regional tissue industry is expanding as well and the UAE is one of the leading players in the field. The paper industry is registering spectacular growth in the country with several production centres and paper converting businesses flourishing the region.
The Dubai International Exhibition Centre in Dubai, is all set to host this October, the second edition of Paper Arabia exhibition, aimed exclusively at the paper industry. Exhibitors at Paper Arabia have an unrivalled opportunity to network and meet major buyers and industry professionals, enhance their corporate image in the region, learn about the latest market trends in Middle East and GCC region, get to know GCC, Indian and African buyers and meet all key market players.
