Satyam Industries commenced trial run on their 200 TPD kraft paper machine on 12 March 2009 and had planned to begin commercial production during auspicious days of Navratra in late March. The mill is located 1 km inside the National Highway no 71A, route from Panipat to Rohtak.
The pulping section comprise of 3 pulpers, 3 refiners, and 4 slot screen, 5 turbos, 2 high density cleaners and 2 centri-cleaners. The paper machine is equipped with twin-wire, jumbo presses with blind drill rolls, 5 pre dryer cylinders, M.G., 6 post dryers. The production speed of the machine is above 300 mpm with a width of 4.7 meter.
Satyam Industries has put their own turbine for economical & uninterrupted supply of power due to which the total investment in the project has been increased to Rs 55 Crore.
Commenting about the product & market Mr. Sumit Agarwal said, “We will focus on manufacturing quality kraft paper ranging 140-250 GSM in 22, 25, 28,35 BF. The primary target will be North Indian market i.e. Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and also some parts of western region like Maharastra.
The CMD of the company further expressing his keen interests in environmental projects, conservation of the electricity cited their interest to enter the arena of Carbon Trading.
