Italy-headquartered Fedrigoni has signed an agreement with Arjowiggins for the complete acquisition of Guarro Casas, a Spain-based Company with expertise in the finishing of speciality papers. Guarro Casas is based in Gelida (Barcelona), where it operates a plant with a workforce comprising 140 people.

After this acquisition, Fedrigoni’s standing in the speciality papers segment is further strengthened. As a matter of fact, Guarro Casas is highly specialised in the production of fine papers for creative and binding applications and is the market leader in high-added value finishing for luxury packaging, fine book covering, and security applications.
