Kuantum Papers Ltd has completed the upgradation of its Paper Machine 2 (PM 2), strengthening manufacturing capabilities through advanced technological enhancements. The upgrade includes installation of a CD dilution control headbox, pond size press, calendar, improved steam and condensate system, and an additional dryer section.

The company also integrated an advanced QCS system along with DCS controls in stock preparation and approach flow to improve process control and operational efficiency. The project was executed in a record 32 days, reflecting strong coordination and execution capabilities.
The upgrade is expected to significantly improve product quality, production performance, and overall manufacturing efficiency, reinforcing the company’s focus on building a robust and technology-driven production ecosystem.
