From now onwards, label papers for various applications such as bottles and food packaging will also be manufactured on the machine. Since these speciality papers require raw materials and chemicals to be processed in accordance with the highest safety standards, GAW provides technology as well as the assembly and commissioning of the highly complex system.

The history of collaboration between the two leading companies dates back several decades ago. In 1951, GAW commissioned its first order for Sappi’s mill in Gratkorn. After that, there are a number of projects which have been implemented, including Sappi’s complete overhaul of its facility with one of the world’s largest and state-of-the-art production plants for coated fine paper.
