PM: With the ‘New Normal’ imposed due to the pandemic, what is the current market situation and what are your projections for the future?

PS: Currently, there is a major gap in demand and supply in the paper category due to multiple hurdles arising due to lockdowns, pricing of basic pulp, unavailability of raw materials and other related items. But if we look from a broader angle, the Indian paper industry has the opportunity to become a new global supplier for paper in the coming future as the demands of Indian paper & paper-based products have grown tremendously in the last few months. Demand in the food packaging sector is also growing very fast due to the majority of orders being converted into take-home delivery. With paper being the most easily recyclable eco-friendly substance, new horizons in retail food packaging are coming which will give a further boost to the demand for paper-based packaging products.
