As part of its latest investment programme, the company has undertaken a major upgrade of PM3, which is expected to enhance capacity, product quality and operating efficiency.

Satia Industries Limited continues to expand and modernise its manufacturing capabilities, with total installed paper production capacity now exceeding 200,000 MTPA, and added five more cutlery machines taking the total to 14.

The company has undertaken a major modernisation and upgradation programme for Paper Machine 3 (PM3). The machine was shut down from June 1, 2026, with refurbishment work expected to continue for 4–5 months. The programme is expected to increase production capacity, improve product quality and strengthen operating efficiency.

The planned shutdown impacted production volumes during Q1 FY27, contributing to a 2% YoY decline in revenue to INR 3,618 million. However, upon completion, the PM3 modernisation is expected to support Satia’s future capacity growth and strengthen its overall manufacturing platform.
