Orchid Group Continues to Register Robust Growth

The sales growth at Orchid Group has been remarkable, particularly during 2020 and 2021 despite the COVID-19 pandemic, wherein revenue witnessed a year-on-year growth of 30 percent.

Orchid Group, known for producing one of the finest and most consistent qualities of coated paper boards, has made a name for its quality and excellent print results. The company’s sales growth has been remarkable, particularly during 2020 and 2021 despite the COVID-19 pandemic, wherein the revenue witnessed a year-on-year growth of 30 percent. Apparently, the group has set the vision for 2023 and is working to substantially add to the production capacity and enhance the quality and product value.

Starting with a small capacity of 15000 TPA in 2007, Orchid Group has grown to the present capacity of 210000 TPA with ‘customer first’ as its core policy. The group produces coated paper board (duplex paper board), kraft liner, and absorbent kraft in three paper machines in addition to the HPL sheets, which has effectively led to a better product mix and diverse portfolio.

The paper machine at the facility is equipped with DCS and QCS which ensures consistency in the quality of the products. The finishing house is equipped with eight Synchro Fly sheeting machines that ensure trim-free and burr-free boards.

Known for producing smell-free paper, and its environmental conservation and CSR activities, the Orchid group has always been proactive in sustainable growth and has been a pioneer in water management. A major requirement of the paper production needs is met by the rainwater harvesting method. The group has discontinued the use of fossil fuels and is now reliant on sustainable alternative fuels for the boilers. Further, it is 100 percent reliant on renewable energy for all the paper production and is expanding the energy production and growing that into a new business vertical.
